SOUND DESIGN

As a graduate of the Sound Design program at Tomas Bata University, one of my focuses is creating (foley), editing and mixing sounds for motion pictures. From the beginning of my studies, my main passion was making sound for animated films. This specialization led me to complete creativity and complexity that often goes beyond the sound for live-action movies. My practice has led me to collaboration with leading Czech directors of animated films (N. Valentíny, F. Diviak, I. Štrobl, V. Szemlová, etc.), as well as animation studios (Pirogy Studios, BareBear), and commercial clients (Seznam.cz, Stream.cz, Umím.cz, etc.).

At the beginning of every audiovisual project, there is always the development of the sound dramaturgy – created based on the script/storyboard. The actual implementation then takes place after the lock-cut of the work and includes sound effects recording, editing and mixing, dialogue recording, work with archival sound material, editing and mixing film score and ends with the final mix of the sound composition.
